Sat: Got up too late to do a 10k, so did a 8 k run. The friends I was suppose to run with had to cancel due to a medical appt, so I was lazy about getting going on time. Finished before 8am, it was so hot and humid my clothes were dripping wet. I took my shirt off and wrung it out. I threw it on the closet floor and 10 hours later, it was still wet. Gross. My husband was complaining about my stinky exercise clothes in the closet. I suggeseted a hamper with a lid on it. My husband suggested I get a diaper pail. Oh dear.

A diaper pail? oh man! You just need to NOT live in the nasty humidity!!

Nice job on both fronts and getting it done. Keep up the hard work.

    That is so funny!

Here is what we do: we actually have a laundry basket that we keep on the floor in the laundry room. All workout clothes go there and NOTHING else (as they get washed with special detergent). If my husband sweats a lot, he dries his on the side of the tub for the day and then throws them in the basket. But it tell you, sometimes days later I pull stuff out of there all sweaty and gross, it is quite disgusting!!!!

RAD- The humidity does seem to lock the smell in the wetness. Sounds gross, doesn't it. Anyway, I did go buy something today to put only gym clothes in. Let's hope it works.

Kelli-Special detergent is a good idea. I acutally had to wash my exercise clothes 2x last week becuase they still smelled funny after the first wash. What detergent, or "tricks" do you recommend?

I buy WIN laundry detergent, it works the best. It gets the SMELL out, for the most part. I know no other tricks.
