My post didn't work, so I'm entering it here.

Monday- 5k run with some speed work, 50k bike ride. The ride was at a Manageable pace but then My friend kept pushinge to do sprints, which was probably good for me but my legs wee tired the next day.

Tuesday - swim 2k. No coach but we just coached ourselves. Went to meet PT doc about my hip afterwards. Learned some exercises. Need to make sure insurance will pay before continuing.

Wednesday- 50k ride. Faster speed than normal. I heard we were going about 30kph on a couple of long, flat stretches. ( I think about 19mph). I was really ready for a break at 1/2 point and my legs didnt have much left wjen my friend asked me to sprint on the way back. I was tired the rest of the day.

Thursday- 2k swim, that was enough.

Friday- parent teacher conferences. Then went to watch my kids learn to "surf". If I wasn't so chicken I should have gotten my swimsuit on and tried too. But I just sat and drank limeade and talked with my friend.

Saturday-ran a quick 4 k so I could get back to see my son start his 5k race. I think he is doing well, but I think he is disappointed that he didn't get below 20:00 ( I think that was his goal this week). I had a church obligation so I wasn't able to run. I need to see when the next 5k fun run will be and guard the date on my calendar .

You're really working hard on those bike rides! 19 mph is faster than I've maintained for anything other than downhill.

It's great your son is running cross country too. Probably not as fun as surfing, but he looks like he's good at that too!

Next time, put on your suit and live a little!!
