My teenage son woke up in time to go for an early morning bike ride with me. We saw one of the strangest looking dogs along the way. The dog was friendly enough, but seemed to have some sort of a skin condition, or disease, so I decided not to pet it.

After we got home, the whole family went for a swim at the pool. What was suppose to be a relaxing swim turned into racing each other across the pool. I am not the fastest runner in the family, nor am I the fastest swimmer in the family. Just when I had completed the amount of laps I  wanted to do, and was ready to go home, my daughter begged me to swim "just one more lap"  with her. I declined, on grounds that I was exhausted . She persisted, with a smile on her face, and said, "But mom, if you swim one more lap, then will have more to put on your running blog." I laughed and swam one more lap with her.

That is a strange looking dog.

It's great that your kids work out with you.

See, the blog is motivating you already! Well, at least your daughter. I'm having a hard time believing you aren't the fastest swimmer in your family! Oh, and the dog? YIKES! Good idea not to pet it.

That dog has the saddest puppy-dog eyes ever. Creepy that it has no hair, though.

The blog can be a great tool to encourage you to do "just one more." 20k bike ride sounds like a nice way to start your morning.

Bye - what is your first name? Hum, your daughter is a good motivator, get her after you on the running, you will not be in the top ten last place. Also, it is not who wins or loses the race, stay in the game and the fun is always on. We often get caught up in time, place, etc. it really does not matter, just do you best in the moment, you will be rewarded.

Stay Kool, B of BS rools out

By the way, I only dare sing if someone can't catch me and shut me up.
