    My weekly blog

Monday- Swim class 2k, run 3k, bike 5k

Tuesday-Swim class in the morning, swim lesson in the afternoon. Apparently, I have nice a nice stroke, but no power. Gee thanks. I paid a lot of money to hear that? I guess the truth hurts.

Wednesday- I had too much going on. Walked 3k in the evening.

Thursday- Swim class. I  suggested to the teacher that we do "Turkey Relays" . It was so much fun,. I probably only swam about 1k total, but I gave 100% and was so exhausted. After a little rest, I decided to throw in a run around the lake and went for a bike ride. Fun day. My arms were sore from swimming.

Friday- Boot camp. I HATE PLANKS! Afterwards,  I went for a run around the lake with 2 friends. Then, went for a short swim at the pool with my husband, who had the day off. My arms were still sore from Turkey relays the day and those darn shoulder press exercises at book camp so I didn't swim much. .

Saturday.- Decided to make up my own Turkey Trot. My running buddy agreed to my crazy plan so away we went for a 5k run, then another 2.5 walk/run around the lake. I was glad my leg didn't start hurting. I tried to be careful with it this week and not run too much. My running buddy remined me to stretch, which probably helped. The problem is my arms are still so sore from swimming/ shoulder press exercises.  I guess they both must exercise similiar muscles.

Turkey dinner is all in the oven and I'll be eating in about 30 minutes. Yum Yum Yum .

Pix of our "Turkey Trot" run.

Cat on the Move - tell me more, tell me more, without grease. No powere in the swim, what the heck, I must be swimming backwards then if you have not power. What the heck is he/she talking about?

Nice 5K - heck, you should train for a half IM, your doing a good portion of work already.

Love the pix with the flowers in the background and green trees. We're all brown and flowerless here.

Nice workouts all week long. I find that it's hard to run when my arms are sore...just the simple swaying of arms moving hurts too much!

Glad you had a turkey party and had a good friend to run with too.
