Started the 4th week of Hal's training, today was my "long run" day. Ran alone, which made me realize I need to find a running buddy, one that doesn't mind running s-l-o-w.  My neighbor that runs didn't  get my message, so she went to the pool this morning. My oldest son was sick, my youngest son was still asleep and my daughter told me, "I don't do land sports". My husband offered to bike along with me, but I would have had to get up at 4:30am, I chose to sleep in.

I would have slept in too. I wish I could be your running buddy. I'm buddy-less at the moment, although a woman did approach me at church yesterday about running with me.

Cat on the Move - Lonely long distance runner, love those days, good getting in the miles. Slow is as slow thinks - think fast smooth de cat feet.

Good call on sleeping in! Especially after all the work you did in making a nice Father's day :)

Just give it a couple weeks and you will have a running partner that will run your pace everyday. Just happy to have company come her way! Glad you got it done, even alone.

Running alone has it's ups and downs. It's good to have the chance to do both. Maybe you can drag your company out with you on a run.

I don't mind waking up early to run... that's when you get to see the sunrise. Just plan a nap in the day later on.

Alright, Cat on the Run - where is your workout blog today, training to be done, birds to chase, no cat nap for you.

CIC -You can be my running buddy during the Des News 10k :)

RAD- Father's Day, Smather's Day. Hope you'll slow down and be my running buddy during Des News 10k too :)

QP -I'm working on trying to recruit "houseguest" to run with me. Any chance you want to be my running buddy for the Des News 10k?

Brent- I chased those birds, just didn't have time to blog about it until later. Thanks for keeping me in line.

B-W: I'd love to be your running buddy at the Des News 10k. I just need a teleporter. Want a photo of my head on a stick that you can run with?
