    Swim day. It seemed hard to swim today. Maybe because I was swimming outdoors at noon, and had to wear that silly long sleeved UV swim shirt, oy maybe because I'm coming down with a head cold, or maybe it has been so long since I swam, that I just forgot how to. 

    My kids embarassed me to death when they started fighting with each other in the parking lot, right when we were getting into the car. Another one of those, "who gets to sit where fights". I hate it when that happens.   I never fought with my siblings :)

    I am offiicially registered for the Des News 10k, and since there is not refund, I guess that means I will be going.

    Aren't you the one who taught RAD how to swim!?!! It must've been the silly long sleeved swim shirt! :)

    I hate it when kids fight in public and you're like: "these aren't my kids!" But with my kids...it is VERY OBVIOUS that they belong to me...rotten and all!

    So are you shooting to finish 3rd to last on Monday so your kids won't torment you with their teasing?

    I don't ever remember fighting over anything with my sisters. We always had a wonderful, peaceful and respectful relationship! Now, my mother on the other hand....

    Sorry the kids are tormenting you. Maybe when you get back we'll need to take off without any of them that can talk and just have a good time alone!

    Oh, and I too don't think there is any way YOU could forget how to swim. It is your basic program, and has been forever. So, I'm voting for the shirt as well. But...look at it this way, at least you didn't have to worry about getting sunburned! :)

    Bye-Wing- I really hope you're not getting a cold. Summertime colds are unfair! Some days are just "off" days too. Don't write-off a good 10K on Monday yet.

    RAD- don't make me pull out my bowl of paprika and slap you with it. You'd pull a tantrum in the parking lot and embarrass your family without any reason at all!!

    Rad - I have sisters too and I know better than to believe you had a totally peaceful relationship. My favorite sister fight memory involved chocolate cake.

    Smooth- I've decided to raise my standards. I'm going for 4th to last this year.

    RAD- I have a love/hate relationship with that swim shirt...and somedays my kids too.

    QP- I have a photo of said, "tantrum" if you need it for evidence :)

    Terri- Chocolate cake is always worth fighting for.
