5 miles on the "dreadmill". This time I remembered to set the incline to 1%. I think 5 miles is close to the 9k I'm suppose to do this week for the Hal Higdon training.

Cat on the run, an 8K is almost exactly 5 miles, good work - keep after it, Hey, talked to Di, the Deseret Sharks will soon be holding an open water swim clinic at Black Rigde, close to your Rad, I will let you know when I get the email. Di says they often rent wet suits for $10 to try out on the swim. Also, the free clinic is done in the spring. A suggestion, South Davis Rec Center does a pool Tri, I think over labor day, this would be a great Tri to get your feet wet, see if you like them. Also, there is a open water sprint Tri at Black Ridge the end of this month, the 30th, I am signed up, it would be kool if you gave it a Tri. The Salt Lake Running company rents wet suits for a day, don't know how much they charge. If you do the Tri, you will get major commando points.

Oooohhh, Brent I may just have to twist her arm to do the Blackridge tri! She would LOVE it!!! Won't be around on Labor day though.
