No run today - a swim day.  My legs enjoyed the break. Why does the water seem to be kinder to my body than the road?

because it is :) A lot less pounding and hurt, plus your body is much more used to it. Oh, and just FYI - your Swimming is in yards...but I'm assuming you swam 2KM? 2 yards would hardly be one stroke for you :)

I hope your legs recover well from the running and bootcamp before your next run. You are doing a great job!

I admire your ability to swim. I'm a terrible swimmer.

I also admire your ability to swim. People seem to always be asking me if I'm ever going to do a triathlon, which is odd to me, because as a pure runner I have about the same swimming ability as a rock or steel anvil. Zero upper-body strength doesn't help either. So kudos on the swimming.

I think the difference is that one is made of water and the other is made of asphalt. You should try the in between - MUD. It's a little slower than the other two, but it's pretty kind on the body.

I do love a good swim. I need to start doing more of it.

yep...2 yards doesn't look right. That's the opposite effect of KM to Miles.

Nice job working out and getting stronger.

I wonder why most runners don't enjoy swimming and most swimmers dont enjoy running? Running and swimming seem like such complimentary sports.
